Alaska Sources
A Guide to Historical Records and Information Resources, by Connie Malcolm Bradbury and David Albert Hales, is reported to be the most definitive resource on Alaskan genealogy ever written. I had a chance to read it this week. I can tell you that it is one great resource.

Fairbanks, Alaska Cemetery Records
One of the largest cities in Alaska, Fairbanks is located about two hundred miles north of Anchorage along the Tanana River. This database is a collection of records from the Clay Street and Birch Hill Cemetery located in the city. Each record provides the decedent’s name, death date, and location of headstone within the cemetery. Most entries also provide the individual’s birth date. It includes the names of over 5600 persons who died in the twentieth century. For researchers of Alaskan ancestors, this can be a useful source of information.
